Its been quite a long time...

To make a long story only medium length, I transitioned for about six months and then I just couldnt take it any more. I did my bc in may and fell in love with my lil coils! But I knew from the time I started my transition that I wanted locs. So on September 30th 2011 I began that journey. Now I must say that loc'ing is a completely different experience from transitioning from relaxed to natural. Its different from being a loose natural as well. I think my newbie locs are great, but I struggle to make the connect between my locs being pretty and being feminine girly pretty. I know that sounds a lil silly, but hey, its what I'm feeling. Hopefully its just a newbie loc phase that I'm going thru. Hopefully as they grow and my understanding of them grows as well I can get the pretty feeling back. Anywho... Here's a couple pics.
